Unlike Rajasthan CET, this notification tells you exactly how the 200 marks are split. That makes planning far easier:

Two things follow from this table:
- Language and Mathematics together carry 90 of the 200 marks — nearly half the paper. Many candidates spend all their time on Rajasthan GK and lose here.
- General Knowledge carries only 20 marks. It is worth knowing, but it is not where the paper is won.
Negative marking
One-third of the marks allotted to a question is deducted from your score for a wrong answer. With 160 questions this adds up quickly, so answering at random is a losing strategy.
